The Buck Shot Machine is engineered specifically for the high efficiency production of buckshot by processing lead wire through a cold reduction method. The lead wire itself is manufactured using our dedicated lead wire extrusion machine, ensuring material consistency and dimensional accuracy to meet specified production tolerances.
Standard production sizes supported by the system include: No.4 (6.10 mm / .24″), No.3 (6.35 mm / .25″), No.2 (6.86 mm / .27″), No.1 (7.62 mm / .30″), No.0 (8.13 mm / .32″), No.00 (8.38 mm / .33″), No.000 (9.14 mm / .36″), and No.0000 (9.90 mm / .39″). In addition to these common gauges, the machine can be adapted to produce non standard and custom sizes on request, providing manufacturers with flexibility for niche products or regional specifications.
